Review
"I love Neil Griffiths' books - he is such a wonderful storyteller, so it was very exciting to get three new books all at once! This is an enchanting game of 'Can' 'Can't' played by two Pelicans who try to outdo each other in the number of creatures they can eat... but in the end one gets just a bit too confident and bites off more than he can chew! Children will love the unexpected pop-ups. It's a good way to learn about some of the sea creatures and this will lead to further discussion. Peggy Collin's vivid illustrations tell the story excellently and combined with the repetitive language, will help young readers."
